Christmas is coming! There’s plenty of holiday cheer if you know where to see dazzling Christmas lights in the Upstate. You’ve probably heard them before and this year these houses draped in Christmas lights are back to shine some more. In between flurry of Christmas activities and frantic shopping trips—take the time to check out these twinkling neighborhoods.
Just make sure to bring along an extra sweatshirt and some patience because these houses are so popular they get a lot of traffic. Be sure to visit their Facebook page before visiting as current announcements and information are posted as well as traffic rules. Also, please be courteous of the others viewing the displays as well as the other houses in the neighborhood.

2016 Christmas Light Shows in the Upstate
Greenville Griswold is displaying over 480k light synchronized to music played on 104.5 FM. The roads in this neighborhood are small, Visitors are advised to park at Faith Baptist Church and walk over to ease traffic congestion. Show starts November 27th to January 1st. Dusk to 10:30 pm. LINDSAY FAMILY CHRISTMAS
Lindsey family has over 150,000 static lights on display. Visitors are requested to park on Trade Street and avoid blocking the neighbors’ driveways. Visitors can walk around the yard. Lights are open from November 29th until December 29th. 6:00 pm -10:00 pm (Sun –Thurs) 6:00 pm -11:00 pm (Fri – Sat). Visit their Facebook page to find out more.
THE SOUND OF LIGHTS
Displaying 60k lights with 5 songs each night. Tune to 99.5 FM to listen to the music. Visitors are asked not to block the road. Display starts on November 26th – December 27thfrom 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm each night. Check out their Facebook pagebefore visiting as they announce if there will be no show in case of a bad weather.
CHRISTMAS ON KWIKAWAY
One house draped in colorful Christmas lights? Great! Two? Awesome!
Two houses synced to display beautiful Christmas lights accompanied by music. Tune in to 97.1 FM. Show starts November 26 to December 31 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Watch out their page for further announcement.
Amazing 325,000+ light display! Santa Claus makes appearances and there’s even free hot chocolate and popcorn as visitors walk around the display. The display show will begin on December 1st until January 1stfrom 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The show is free for all but donations are appreciated. Animated Christmas lights synchronized to music. Visitors are asked not to block the neighbors’ driveways. Show normally starts at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Visit their Facebook page before planning a visit.
TURNER FAMILY CHRISTMAS
Over 300k animated lights on display accompanied by music which you can hear by tuning in to 87.9 FM. The display will be up for all to enjoy on November 28th. Visitors can drive through from 6:00 pm -10:00 pm (Sun –Thurs) 6:00 pm -10:30 pm (Fri – Sat). Visit their Facebook page to find out more.
CHERISH D LIGHTS
Thousands of lights light this home in Cherish Drive. Tune into 107.7 FM to hear the music. The display show will begin on Novdmber 28th until December 31st from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Sun-Thurs) 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Fri-Sat). Check out their Facebook page before visiting.

SHADRACK’S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND AT HERITAGE PARK
Experience light and music show in the comforts of your own car. The average drive through the light show is 20-25 minutes. Tickets are sold on site and costs $25 per car. The show is open from Nov. 20 till January 2, Mon – Sun. Dusk to 10:00 pm
HOLIDAY LIGHTS AT ROPER MOUNTAIN SCIENCE CENTER
Roper Mountain continues the holiday tradition of bringing the spirit of Christmas. Start your visit by parking the car and strolling through WinterWonderland, you’ll find lighted walking trails, Santa, and more! Holiday Lights is open every night from 6:00-10:00 p.m. starting November 26 till December 30. Admission per car costs $10 (Mon-Thu) and $15 (Fri-Sun).

Drive thru or park your car and watch the largest interactive Christmas light show. Tickets are sold at their website at $20 per car. The show is open from Nov. 26 till January 4, Mon – Sun. 5:30 pm to Midnight.
ANDERSON LIGHTS OF HOPE
Now on a bigger location. Anderson Lights of Hope will have a larger Santa Village and a festival of 3.5 million Christmas lights! Have fun with the whole family!
The price for admission is $8 per vehicle, open every night at 5:30 pm till 11:00 pm starting November 26thto December 25th.
