4th of July is not complete without fireworks, barbecues, and parades. The Upstate hosts truly impressive Fourth of July fireworks as well as a number of other events to celebrate the Independence Day. Here are a number of events that make this summer holiday truly remarkable.
4th of July Fireworks and Events
Greenville: Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue |
Where: Downtown Greenville Greenville’s premier event is set to start at 5pm until 10 pm. Fireworks Display will start at 9:45pm. It will feature two live music stages, variety of food and beverage vendors, and children’s area. The event takes place in downtown Greenville from Court to Camperdown streets and will encompass Broad Street, from Laurens to Falls Streets, and Falls Park.

Simpsonville: Independence Day Patriotic Pops |
Where: Charter Amphitheatre, Heritage Park, Simpsonville Admission: General admission $25/car, VIP seating: $50 – adult, $30 children This annual Simpsonville event will be held at Charter Amphitheatre at Heritage Park in Simpsonville, SC featuring the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, children’s activity center, and an awe-inspiring fireworks display. Bring the family along for a night filled with fun. You can bring food, drinks are purchased at the concessions.

Easley Celebrate America |
Where: Easley Downtown at Old Market Square Celebrate America with Easley. There will be live music, bike night, and fireworks display at 9:45 pm. Bring the family in one of the largest outdoor celebrations in the upstate area. Aside from the live musical entertainment, there will be food, vendors, and children’s area.

Greenville: Redemption World Outreach |
Where: Haywood Road, Greenville Celebration of Independence Day at Redemption World Outreach: Gates open at 9 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m. at the church on Haywood Road.

Where: Earle St from Robinson to North Main St Join the residents of the North Main area for their annual Earle Street 4th of July Parade

Inman: Salute to America Block Party and Fireworks Show |
Where: Holly Springs Fire and Rescue District- 3301 Hwy 357, Inman, SC 29349 Join Inman for the 4th of July Block Party! There will be Barbecues, Live Music, Great Food, Local Vendors, Inflatables for Kids, Model Airplane Show, Little Miss & Mr. Holly Springs Pageant, Bake Sale and the Best fireworks show in Spartanburg County!

Spartanburg: Red, White, and Boom |
Where: Barnet Park Admission: General admission $5, children are admitted free Spartanburg will celebrate the 4th of July with music, food, and of course, a fabulous fireworks show. Patriotic music by the Spartanburg Community Band, the Spartanburg Jazz Ensemble, and the Craig Woolard Band. Fireworks show begins between 9:30 and 9:45. |
Pickens: 4th of July Celebration |
Where: Historic Pickens Amphitheater, 114 Main Street Pickens brings free live event for the entire family. Come at 7 pm and celebrate America on its day of independence.

Seneca: 4th of July Celebration |
Where: Gignilliat Park Community Center The 4th of July Celebration will be filled with food! Fun! Friends and Music! Come and join Seneca’s 4th of July Celebration!! There will be something for every one. Music Performances by: Funk Factory and The Tams. A huge fireworks display rounds out the evening’s festivities. Gates will be open at 6pm.

Williamston: Independence Day Celebration |
Where: Downtown WilliamstonThere will be fire truck rides, music, and car show. Fireworks will begin after dark.

Starr: Fourth of July Family and Friends celebration |
Where: Unity Baptist Church in Starr SC off of Flat Rock Rd Everyone is welcome so bring a chair or blanket. There will be free Hotdogs, drinks and door prizes, live music and lots of fireworks!

Newberry: Newberry Fireworks Celebration |
Where: Newberry High School located at 3113 Main Street, Newberry, SC The 4th of July celebration in Newberry will feature games for the kids and food for all ages. Childrens activities will start at 6:00 pm, a skydiving celebration at 8:00pm and the fireworks will begin at dusk. All activities are free and open to the general public.

Mountain Rest: Annual Hillbilly Day |
Where: 120 Verner Mill Rd, Mountain Rest SC This annual family event will feature Blue Grass music, clogging contests, fiddle and banjo competition, handmade arts & crafts, Hickory-smoked BBQ, chicken food plates, greased pig chase, greased pole climb, and Bloodmobile. Free parking and admission.

Anderson: Homeland Park Fire Department 4th of July Celebration |
Where: 3299 South Main Street Ext., Anderson, SC This annual event has something for everyone! You’ll find concessions, live music, raffle prizes, helicopter rides, BBQ, and fireworks! Event starts at 10am until 11pm.

Salem: Free 4th of July Celebration |
Where: Downtown Salem This is completely free event for all. There will be live music, free food, balloons, and small surprises for everyone! The fireworks display will light up the town starting at 9:30 p.m.
