Christmas Model Train Display (Nov. 25 – Jan. 3)
Location: 2801 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville SC
Now on its 5th season, enjoy one of the finest holiday display in Greenville. Miniature trains and over 100 Christmas Village Buildings located near the “North Pole” are featured by Miniature World of Trains. Come and see model train er 21st through January 3rd it’s the 5th Annual Christmas Model Train Display presented by Classic Toy Trains Magazine. Come see Thomas The Tank and the Polar Express trains and many others on 4 separate tracks traversing the display around the 9 foot high Snowny Mountains. Tickets are sold for only $5 adult and $3 children.
Ice on Main (Nov. 20 – Jan. 18)
Location: 208 S Main St, Greenville SC
Usually open from third week of November to mid-January, this ice rink right in the heart of downtown Greenville, United Community Bank Ice on Main is in its 4th season of bringing America’s favorite winter traditions – ice skating! This is a great place to hang out with friends and family and ice skate for only $10. It is the only one of its kind in the Upstate so come down and enjoy the thrill of gliding on ice.
Upstate Holiday Light Show (Nov. 26 – Jan. 3)
Location: Greenville Pickens Speedway
It is one of the premier holiday light events in the Upstate SC. Drive through Greenville-Pickens Speedway and experience one of the biggest and interactive light shows with 32 million colors setting the sky ablaze accompanied by some of the greatest Christmas music hits. The Upstate Light Show ticket is only $20 per vehicle, light show, Santa Workshop and Petting Zoo included.
Christmas at Heritage Park (Nov. 20 – Jan. 2)
Location: Simpsonville Heritage Park
Christmas at Heritage Park showcases hundreds of thousands of light displays on Heritage Park. It’s a very fun way to spend the holidays right in the comforts of your own car. Tickets are sold on site and costs $25 per vehicle.
Greenville Little Theater
Location: 444 College St, Greenville, SC
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – but is it the most wonderful time at the theater? Christmas is in full swing as Greenville Little Theater presents great Christmas plays. Watch ‘A Christmas Carol” from Dec 11-20 and “Twas The Night Before Christmas” from Dec 16-19. Check here for ticket pricing.
