Everything from concerts, Labor day celebrations, family events, and festivals—take place right here in Greenville. Summer season may be nearly over but there is still plenty of time to tick off items on your summer bucket list. Here’s a round-up of some of our favorite events happening this September:
Bacon Labor Day With Admission
When: September 4-5
Where: Simpsonville City Park
This event is not only to celebrate bacon, it is a fun-filled event for the whole family. The kids will surely enjoy the rides, food, and entertainment. There will be a Touch-a-Truck event happening on Sept 4 wherein visitors get an up close look at police, fire, and military vehicles. There will be a car show on Sept. 5 and concerts.
There’s an admission of $3 per person or $10 for a family of four. Admission is free for children ages 5 and under. Register and buy tickets for the event here.
SCCT presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast With Admission
When: September 10-25
Where: The Peace Center
One of the most popular Disney movies Beauty and the Beast comes to life on stage this month. The show starts September 10 and will through September 25, every weekends. For tickets and show schedule visit www.peacecenter.org.
Footloose: The Musical With Admission
When: September 16 – October 2
Where: Greenville Little Theatre
Based on the 1984 film of the same name, this popular contemporary movie will fire up the stage of Greenville Little Theatre. There’s nothing quite like hearing Footloose in a full-fledged musical! Euphoria With Admission
When: September 22-25
Where: Downtown Greenville
You’d best be hungry when you join this event as it offers exclusive food and wine tasting and more. The food festival has drawn over 6,000 guests from 30 states and several countries last year. This year will be another blast. Fluor Field will serve as the venue for the four-day event, hosting the Saturday and Sunday tasting events, chef demos, classes and Traffic Jam. Take A Child Outside Week With Admission
When: September 24-30
Where: Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park
Make the most of your week with your family and plan for one (or more!) of these fun outdoor activities: Fun hikes, nature education programs and a campout! Take a Child Outside Week is a national movement started in NC that features special ranger-led programs at State Parks that introduce children and families to the outdoors and healthy activities.
