Christmas is coming! There’s plenty of holiday cheer if you know where to see dazzling Christmas lights in the Upstate. You’ve probably heard them before and this year these houses draped in Christmas lights are back to shine some more. In between flurry of Christmas activities and frantic shopping trips—take the time to check out these twinkling neighborhoods.
Just make sure to bring along an extra sweatshirt and some patience because these houses are so popular they get a lot of traffic. Be sure to visit their Facebook page before visiting as current announcements and information are posted as well as traffic rules. Also, please be courteous of the others viewing the displays as well as the other houses in the neighborhood.

2016 Christmas Light Shows in the Upstate

Greenville Griswold is displaying over 480k light synchronized to music played on 104.5 FM. The roads in this neighborhood are small, Visitors are advised to park at Faith Baptist Church and walk over to ease traffic congestion. Show starts November 27th to January 1st. Dusk to 10:30 pm. Lindsey family has over 150,000 static lights on display. Visitors are requested to park on Trade Street and avoid blocking the neighbors’ driveways. Visitors can walk around the yard. Amazing 325,000+ light display! Santa Claus makes appearances and there’s even free hot chocolate and popcorn as visitors walk around the display. The display show will begin on December 1st until January 1stfrom 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The show is free for all but donations are appreciated.
