Greenville is cited as one of the best vacation towns to live in year-round by an article published in Money Crashers, a financial guide website. Among the cities that made it to the list are Fort Collins, Colorado; Flagstaff, Arizona; Roanoke, Virginia; Concord, New Hampshire; Traverse City, Michigan; Logan, Utah; Galveston, Texas; Duluth, Minnesota; and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
This is not the first time Greenville was recognized as a great place for vacation. This community was also recognized for other things as well, every year we’ve seen publications, organizations, and websites cite Greenville for its business opportunities, economic growth, low cost of living, and beautiful sights, food, and places. It is one of the reasons why Greenville is attracting people from across the country.
What’s to love in Greenville?
Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, and near the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, Greenville enjoys the mildest weather in the state. The city is enveloped by parkland and forests giving it a small-town feel. This small city with big city amenities is well known for its festivities, great dining scene, shopping, the popular Falls Park at the Reedy River, Swamp Rabbit Trail, music and entertainment venues, and beautiful sights.
Of course, it is worth mentioning that the city enjoys low cost of living compared to other states. Compared to the rest of the country, Greenville’s cost of living is 6.80% lower than the U.S. average.
Greenville real estate is also flourishing. It is a town with a good mix of residential and business establishments. Brought about by the economic growth over the years, the demand for real estate in downtown as well as the suburban areas increased.
Truly Greenville has captured the hearts of many.
