The holiday season has officially started! And as always this month is packed with parties and get-togethers that make this season really special.

Check out all the holiday fun, events, and activities you can take part this December. Here are you some you shouldn’t miss.
St. Francis Festival of Trees. The Festival of Trees will run from Dec. 1 through Jan. 1. It’s free! Come and visit the beautifully decorated trees on display in Hyatt Regency Greenville, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites RiverPlace.
Roper Mountain Holiday Lights. Consider a visit to Roper Mountain Holiday lights, it is open through December 30. Walk, drive and bring the family along the lighted paths. Get to see Santa Clause, balloon artist, concessions, and giant holiday greeting cards. Admission is $10 Mon-Thur and $15 Fri-Sun. All proceeds will go to the charities and organizations.
Ice on Main. The only one of its kind in the Upstate, enjoy ice skating this holiday season. Ice on Main is located at Village Green in front of the Courtyard Marriott on South Main Street. It is open from Nov. 21 through January 19. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the broadway musical comes to Greenville from December 23 through 28, 2014. Bring the whole family and fall in love again with Belle, the Beast, Gaston, Lumiere and other characters from the award winning movie coming to life on stage.
